The election date for the recall election of Commissioner Neil Granath has been set for Tuesday, September 25, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
All citizens in District 3 will vote at City Hall, 214 S. Love Street and NOT at your usual precinct.
Here are important dates to remember:
Eligible citizens can register to vote for this election from now through August 28. See the post on "Register to Vote" to find out how you can register.
Early voting by absentee ballot will run from August 21 through September 21. Call City Hall at 396-2884 to have an absentee ballot request form mailed to your house.
Early voting in person can be done from August 29 through September 21 by going to City Hall, filling out a request for Absentee Ballot, and then completing the Absentee Ballot at that time.
All business will be done during City Hall's regular office hours:
Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
and Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
except for Friday, September 21, City Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Don't forget to vote Against the recall to Keep Commissioner Granath in office.
